Experience History and Nature in Western Cuba Day 1
Welcome to Cuba!
Upon arrival to Cuba, you will be welcomed in Havana Airport with an exclusive transfer to a private house, which you will call home for three nights stay with breakfasts included.

Day 2
Havana, Wonder City
After breakfast, you'll be picked up by Jeep or car specially selected for your upcoming trip. You'll have exclusive access during the trip to a special guide who is extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the areas you'll be exploring. Visit to the military historical park, Morro Cabañas, where you can see the castle of the Three Kings, an emblematic Cuban fortress built in 1630, and the fortress of San Carlos de la Cabaña, named in honor of King Charles III. You'll have an exclusive opportunity in Cuba to visit the largest military facility built by Spain in the Americas.

You'll next get to have a walking tour of the old town and visit the Rum Museum. You'll soon have lunch at the La Mina restaurant or another restaurant of similar quality. Tour modern Havana with a panoramic view of the Vedado area. Visit the Revolution Square with plenty of time for photos, including the possibility of seeing the museum, Mirador del Memorial Jose Marti. Before dinner, you'll be able to go back to your private house and freshen up.

At night, you'll be picked up at your Havana house for a panoramic tour to the Guajiritos Restaurant, which offers the great Cuban Show of the Guajiritos, with great figures of the Buena Vista Social Club. Delight your palate with a delicious Cuban dinner at a local restaurant and return to your local accommodations.

Day 3
At Rafa and Lizbeth's house
You'll be picked up in the morning again and transferred to Rafa and Lizbeth's home with a classic Cuban cocktail awaiting your arrival. Between photos and family memories, Rafa will tell you about the founding of the Club of bartenders in the Republic of Cuba, its importance in the development of the Cuban Cantina, and its relevant results at the international level. Sitting at the bar, this figure of the Cuban cantina will present to you the national cocktail of Cuba and its history. You'll even be provided with a unique opportunity to discuss and try the most classic Cuban cocktails while discovering the secrets of their recipes.

Later, you will be awaiting the taste of the cuisine of Lizbeth, who performs magic by mixing the typical Cuban seasonings. Learn how to prepare Cuban tostones, cassava with mojo, and congrí rice. Experience incredible Cuban tastes from the very Cuban menu in the familiar atmosphere of your patio where your orchids and your bar are your most precious jewels. Your farewell gifts from this residence will include Cuban rum, Habano, chocolate, and coffee. After returning to your private house, the rest of your day will be to yourself.

Day 4
From Havana to Varadero
After your pick up from the house, you will find a beautiful, natural environment on an exclusive Jeep excursion. On the way, we will visit the viewpoint of the bridge of Bacunayagua, considered the highest point in Cuba, crossing the valley of Yumurí followed by a panoramic city tour by the "City of the Bridges," Matanzas. We will also navigate the Canimar River, known for its incredible green slopes, and have the unforgettable experience of snorkeling in the coral reef of Punta de Maya, where incredible beauty prevails in its seabed.

After a typical Creole lunch, horse and bull rides will be your included activities followed by a tour through the old plantation of Dionysus, whose origin dates back to 1820. Then we will continue the route to Varadero, with a final destination at the Meliá Peninsula. Your accommodations in Varadero are at a 5-star hotel of the Meliá Internacional chain. You're here to to enjoy the facilities and the beach for four nights.

Day 5
Varadero On Your Own
You have a free day to enjoy the beach and hotel activities.

Day 6
Bird Watching/Salinas de Brito
After an early breakfast, you'll head over to the bird watching area with an ornithology specialist to enjoy the observation of the most important migratory birds in Cuba. Among the main species, you can find the flamenco, the spatula, the ibis, and the heron. You can also observe forest birds on the route. You'll have lunch in Punta Partridge with open bar and later visit Fiesta Campesina with a tour of the installation. Return to the hotel in the afternoon to enjoy the beach.

Day 7
Varadero On Your Own
You'll have another free day to enjoy the beach.

Day 8
Varadero-Havana/Farewell Cuba!
