- These unique people to people educational tours and Support of the Cuba People vacations (31 CFR 515.574) to Cuba are in cooperation with EnjoyCuba who are licensed by the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), these trips offer you the opportunity to immerse yourself in Cuban culture by interacting and engaging with the people of Cuba. A traveler must have a full-time schedule to interact with the locals with activities such as meeting with local artists, tobacco manufactures and business owners; museum visits; visiting local markets & speaking to vendors; dance classes; meeting and engaging local musicians. You must retain records, including receipts and itineraries, for five years. You have to stay at a casa particular and eat at local restaurants or paladares. You cannot support any military-owned businesses.
