Day One Welcome to Havana- Welcome to Havana. Relaxation, discovery, and adventure starts now. You are under our care and we are devoted to providing you with the most seamless experience and superior service.
- Your private car will be waiting for you upon arrival at the airport and will be with you for the entire trip. Check-in to your accommodation, a lovely private home or lavish luxury boutique hotel, depending on the tier of service you select.
- On your first day, take a stroll through the decaying colonial grandeur of Old Havana with your guide, your local friend in Cuba.
- Get swept away onto a charming private rooftop at sunset. Sip freshly made mojitos while being serenaded by a live band of local musicians playing Cuban classics.
- After dining at one the newest and trendiest restaurants in Havana, enjoy a night at the multidimensional Fabrica de Arte Cubano, a must-see Cuban art installation and center of Havana nightlife.
Day Two Art, Cultural Immersion & Salsa Lesson- Visit the architecturally stunning Museo de Bellas Artes and view one-of-a-kind historic Cuban art providing meaningful context to Cuba and its people.
- Later, explore Centro Habana, a virtually uncharted area for tourists, and have meaningful exchanges with locals. Each stop of your tour will reveal a unique aspect of Cuban culture.
- Dance to the upbeat rhythms in a private local studio far from other tourists. Learn to move like a local in at a private salsa lesson with one of the most talented dancers in Cuba.
- Enjoy dinner by the sea—and if you still have energy, practice your new dance moves at a local salsa club.
Day Three Viñales- Escape to the Cuban countryside of Viñales for a journey through tobacco country.
- Have an organic farm-to-table lunch, tour the expansive tobacco farms on horseback or oxcart like a true “guajiro”, and learn the secret recipe to rolling your own “puros” or Cuban cigars.
- End your day at a gorgeous viewing point among soaring limestone cliffs in the Valley of Viñales, a World Heritage designation.
- For dinner, enjoy a traditional Cuban pork roast or fine dining experience, depending on your preference.
Day Four Hemingway Magic, Cuban Cuisine & Classic Cars- Make your way to the fishing village of Cojimar, which inspired Ernest Hemingway’s Old Man and the Sea. Then, visit the famed novelist’s sprawling mansion, untouched since the day he left.
- Depending on your preference, enjoy a traditional Cuban cooking class with organic herbs and vegetables picked right before your eyes, or enjoy lunch at a quaint restaurant serving local fare.
- Hop into a vintage convertible car before sunset and cruise along the famous Malecon and through Havana’s vibrant neighborhoods.
- Enjoy a live music performance after having dinner at an elite restaurant in Havana.
Day FiveDeparture – Trinidad- For those departing the island, enjoy your last moments with a visit to the iconic Hotel Nacional, once the playground of Hollywood stars, where you can purchase the finest Cuban rum and cigars.
- For those continuing the adventure, journey to Trinidad, a quaint town in the eastern central part of Cuba. Explore the 18th century colonial old town as you walk the cobblestone streets. Climb the old bell tower for sweeping views.
- Dine at one of the loveliest private restaurants in town, and then head to the most unexpected spot for a salsa club, a natural subterranean cave!
Day Six Coffee Farms, Waterfalls & Beach- Today, embrace Cuba’s natural attractions: visit a family’s micro coffee farm and learn about how the beans are grown, harvested, and roasted before enjoying a coffee degustation.
- Cool off with a dip in the emerald pools of a waterfall in the Topes de Collantes natural reserve. Enjoy a hearty lunch at an eco-lodge nestled in the mountains, engulfed in the natural aroma of the surrounding peach and avocado trees.
- Catch the sunset at the beach with more mojitos prepared fresh just for you. Dive into the crystal-clear saltwater as you savor your last moments on the island.
Day Seven Departure – Back to Havana- Wake up to the sights and sounds of the peaceful countryside. Embrace the slow passing of time as you have a delicious hearty breakfast. Prepare to return to the city to catch your flight. Your private car will take you straight to the appropriate departures terminal.
